January 7th:  BEAR STORIES– Join Goldilocks as we follow her through the woods into bear territory.

January 28th: MABLE O' LEARY DAY– Mable O' Leary puts peas in her ears. Join us to find out what happens to Mable.

 

February 4th: CHINESE NEW YEAR- Observe "The Year of the Tiger" with a fun Chinese traditional craft.

 

February 11th: SWEETHEART STORIES- Get prepared for Valentine's Day with valentine stories, poems, and a heart shaped craft.

 

February 18th:   AUTHOR OF THE MONTH– Celebrate Margaret Wise Brown's books.

 

February 25th: PUT ME IN THE ZOO- Enjoy zoo stories, games, and songs.

March 11th: TRAINS, TRAINS, TRAINS– Chugga-Chugga, Choo-Choo along through train books. 

 

March 18th:  ST. PATRICK'S DAY– Commemorate the "Luck of the Irish" as we explore the legends of St. Paddy.  

 

March 25: SPRINGTIME– Butterflies, birds, and flowers are the "tale-tale" signs of Spring.

 

April 1st: BUNNY AND DUCK TALES– Get ready for Easter fun with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt.

 

April 8th– MOTHER GOOSE AND FAIRY TALES– Re-live classic children's stories.

 

April 15th:  AUTHOR OF THE MONTH– Celebrate Eric Carle's books.

 

April 22nd: NATIONAL JELLY BEAN DAY– Find your favorite jelly bean flavor as we observe Jelly Bean Day.

 

April 29th: SHOES AND FEET– Wear your fuzzy slippers or your funny toe socks and dance to some famous foot books.

 

May 6th:  HOORAY FOR MOTHERS– Time to give mom, nanny, or care-giver a hand for all she has done for us.

    

May 13th:  AUTHOR OF THE MONTH– Celebrate Lois Elhert's books.

 

May 20th: SUMMER SEND OFF PARTY– Get ready for a fun summer, sign up for the Summer Reading Program- "Make a Splash-Read".
